The sun is a beautiful thing! We have been helping people harness the power of the sun for over a decade. Solar electric, or photovoltaic, as it is technically referred to, is coming of age. The cost per watt keeps coming down and inverters are becoming more efficient and less expensive. Stand alone or off grid applications usually make more sense economically because the cost to extend power lines can be prohibitively expensive. At the same time, grid intertie systems are becoming more cost effective with possible public and private incentives for consumers. We do our best to try to stay on top of current issues and programs available for our customers.

We have designed and installed systems for over a decade now. Our most popular system is the Sol Shed.It is a self contained super insulated shed that is on treated skids and requires no foundation. It can be moved and transported. The panels mount directly on the roof with inexpensive roof mounts and are easily adjusted. The inverter and batteries are all self contained within the shed. Occasionally the generators are also installed inside. The shed is made of super insulated structural foam panels and is very modular. The advantage of the solar shed is the components are out of your house which is safer. The shed can be located out of site and we just run regular service wire to the house. We have also done many pole mounts solar systems, usually required for heavily treed sites. Recently we have been installing and testing the next generation of solar panels. They are integrated into the roof products and panels and are architecturally pleasing.
